Often when people think of fun group shots they think of your wedding party.

Its so lovely when group shots can be a little more laid back – full of laughter & personality.

Groomsmen laughing, bridesmaids with flowers in the air or the boys giving the groom a hug.

Fun groups shots at weddings can be guests too!

When people gather at weddings – stand in circles in the friendship groups. So I feel its part of my job to ask “would you love a picture?!” and then encourage some chaos & silliness!

Looking out for moments happening with friends – bubble guns for the win always!

Using layers for your wedding party shots.

Using stairs, chairs, sofas & steps to create layers in family shots, wedding party photos. It adds extra dynamic to the image – changes how people can interact, sit & stand. It just makes group shots more fun!

Walking, Dancing, Movement – All makes groups shots fun at your wedding!

I love getting wedding party to walk behind the couple – to put on music, to make them dance & sing & chant! It always gets such fun results.

Late in the day ‘nice to have’ group shots!

Earlier in the day – we get the formal family photos – but later in the day its always worth noting some ‘nice to have’ group shots – you get people with drinks in hand – gathered around you. These images are always more relaxed and way more fun!

I keep at eye out for all the moments!

Get your besties dancing

Your bridesmaids to point out how good the bum looks!

The groom to be picked up by the his mates!

And always a classic fun group shot – Bridesmaids having the best time!

Smile at me. Smile at each other. Magic will happen!

I will always suggest fun times!! You just gotta come with me!

Mostly fun happens when people are given space to be silly!

Part of my job is to create space – to allow the chaos, the silly & encourage the energy of the day. And I really love it!!
