The information submitted via the form is emailed directly and also stored securely on the website server. This server is managed by Showit (www.showit.com), and access is limited to authorised administrators. Showit does not access or share this data unless requested by Hannah MacGregor.
Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film creates a client record for each enquiry. These records are stored securely via Gmail. You can view Google’s privacy policy here: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Your personal data (such as your email address) will only be used to respond to your enquiry and provide relevant information about photography services. It will not be used for marketing purposes or shared with third parties.

Client Galleries
Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film creates a client gallery for each client whose photos are delivered as part of the contracted services. These galleries are hosted by Pixieset. Access is password-protected, and no personal data is required to view them.

While we aim to include only quality, safe and relevant external links, we encourage users to exercise caution when clicking on them.

CLIENT DATA HELD ON FILE
We take care to ensure personal data is stored securely on our systems.
Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film holds the following client data:
i) names
ii) addresses
iii) phone numbers
iv) email addresses
This information is stored digitally, along with client contracts and wedding day plans.
All files are securely stored on a password-protected iMac in a home office and backed up to encrypted external hard drives. Client images are stored using the same secure system.
CLIENTS AND WEDDING GUESTS CAPTURED IN PHOTOS
Under GDPR, photographs may be considered personal data where they allow the identification of an individual.
Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film does not photograph individuals for the purpose of identification or authentication, unless explicitly agreed in advance.
At weddings and events, guests may appear in photographs as part of the visual record of the day. These images are captured in line with GDPR under the lawful basis of legitimate interests.
Photography is a core part of documenting the event and is necessary for the legitimate interests of Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film, unless there is a valid reason to override those interests.
It is not practical to provide individual privacy notices to every guest without significantly impacting the delivery of services. Therefore, clients are asked to inform their guests in advance and direct them to this privacy policy.
Guests with any concerns about being photographed are encouraged to make contact prior to the event.
SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY & USAGe
We operate a safe and responsible social media policy.
While we may have official profiles on social media platforms, users are encouraged to verify their authenticity before engaging or sharing any information.
We will never ask for personal details via social media.
Users are expected to engage with us respectfully and appropriately on these platforms.
PROMOTIONAL USE OF IMAGES
To support the ongoing work of Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film, we may, with your consent, select images for promotional use.
These images may be shared on the website, blog, social media platforms, and in marketing materials such as brochures or flyers.
Occasionally, images may also be submitted to photography blogs, websites, or publications, always ensuring they are used appropriately and respectfully.
The rights and privacy of all individuals featured are protected in line with this policy. Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film respects the privacy of every client, and images will only be used with your consent.
Withdrawal of consent
Anyone photographed by Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film — whether a client or guest, past or present — may withdraw consent for any image in which they appear.
To do so, please email hello@hannahmacgregor.co.uk, specifying the image in question. Upon request, the image will be removed from online and printed materials wherever possible.
By submitting the contact form, you consent to Hannah MacGregor Photo & Film contacting you via your provided email address in response to your enquiry, typically within 72 hours.
