Call me & let's have a relaxed natter about your shoot, what time of day will be best & where you would like the shoot to be. 

There’s no right age for photos - every stage captures a different moment in your little one’s life, and all are equally special.

My weekends are often booked with weddings, so midweek slots are usually easier to find. I do offer some Sunday sessions, but it’s best to get in touch early so we can find a date that works for everyone.

Family shoots typically last 1.5–2.5 hours. I like to take the time to get to know your children, helping them feel relaxed and have fun -especially if they’re a little camera shy.

We’ll capture a mix of images: the children on their own, with siblings, with each parent, and all together as a family.

The most beautiful light often comes later in the day, so if your children are a little older (and with a bit of my magic and some snacks!), a session a couple of hours before sunset can be perfect.

With over 19 years of photographing people, I’m told I’m pretty good at it 😉

I can help you find the best locations in your area and guide you through the details so you get the shots you’re really after.

I’m a fountain of photography knowledge, so feel free to pick my brains.

When I arrive and you have your family around you, you can relax and just enjoy the ride.

I take great care and time editing your images so they’re consistent with my style.

You have a few options for the style of your shoot. We can use the natural light and backdrop of your family home or children’s rooms.

We could head out for a walk - to your local park or a favourite family spot - and capture some relaxed outdoor moments.

Or you could plan a family day out. Whether that’s the beach, a funfair or a cake shop, I can join you for part of the day and capture it all as we go.

I love sharing a few images soon after your shoot. With your permission, I’ll post a selection on social media within a couple of days.

It’s completely up to you whether you’d like to be tagged.

Within 10 working days, I’ll send you a link to your fully edited gallery.

You can then choose the package that works best for you.

Your images will be delivered via an easy-to-share download link, with both full-size files (ready for print) and web-size versions (perfect for social media and email).

It’s best to get in touch around your 20-week scan to book in. I’ll pencil in a date for around a week after your due date.

I also leave some flexibility either side of this to make sure we have options if your baby arrives early or late.

I’ve completed three in-person newborn training courses to hone my skills in this area.

It’s really important to me to have a strong understanding of how to safely move, wrap and hold babies, as well as creating beautiful images for you.

Newborns can be a little unpredictable, so it’s helpful to have an idea of timing. Ideally, babies are 6–10 days old, but up to 14 days can work well too.

In those early days they tend to be sleepier, which makes more posed shots easier to capture.

There’s no time pressure during a newborn shoot — if you need to feed, soothe or change your baby, that’s absolutely fine.

Newborn sessions typically last 4–5 hours and are usually held midweek.

I take great care when editing your images. There’s a fine balance in enhancing newborn skin so it looks its best, without ever feeling over-edited. 

I’ll bring a range of blankets and wraps for you to choose from, so they can complement your home and nursery.

If you’d prefer to use just the natural backdrop of your home, that’s absolutely fine too — or we can use a mix of both.

And please don’t worry about any accidents during the shoot — I’m very used to it!

I love sharing a few images soon after your shoot. With your permission, I’ll send a little sneak peek within a couple of days.

I’m also happy to help design a thank you card with your little one’s details — just ask, there’s no extra cost.
