Let us celebrate together this important tiny human.
They stay babies for a while - but the curled up newborn sleepiness lasts for about 10 days. There is a tiny window to get this big moment recorded.
It’s important that it’s a calm & easy experience, it's all natural light and you don’t leave your home, I bring everything we need (and wash anything at home if there are any accidents.) We can take our time, no time restrictions, capturing all the details and little things you might forget - tiny toes, curls of hair, how tiny they are. I get to watch you and your family sit and at stare your new baby and see you falling more and more in love. I am able to use your home as a backdrop - we can take images in the nursery, chilled on your bed & cuddles on the sofa. The nature of the shoot is very much led by baby, if they need more cuddles we can work around it all. It’s super lovely to use locations around the home where all the memories of these early days will take place. If you like the posed look I bring a variety of wraps & blankets and a newborn beanbag to set up a mini studio for shots of just them - All I need is a bit of space for the bean bag by a big window.
It is a magical time to hold on to. Seeing your big kids who yesterday were your babies now being promoted to BIG brother or sister - And I get to be in the room whilst you are full of pride of this family life you have created. If you have older siblings don’t worry I can sprinkle magic dust to keep them calm & have lots of tricks to get them to cuddle up and be involved at the shoot.

Newborn Shoots - How it all Works...
With all packages you will receive:
NO TIME PRESSURE
Newborns can be a little unpredictable at shoots - Ideally babies are 6-10 days old, but up to 14 days old can be ok too. Those first few days they are a little more sleepy and so the more posed shots are easier to get. There is no time pressure at a newborn shoot - If you need to feed, soothe or change baby thats absolutely fine. Newborn shoots on average are 4-5 hours and tend to be mid week shoots.
WE WILL WORK OUT A DATE THAT WORKS FOR YOU & YOUR FAMILY
It's best to get in touch around your 20 week scan to book in, I will pop a 'pencilled in date' a week after your due date. I will also leave some wiggle room in my diary either side of this date to make sure we have options if your baby arrives late or early.
A RELAXED NATTER ABOUT YOUR SHOOT
Call me & lets have a talk about how the shoot will work & where in your house will be super for photographs.
BLANKETS, WRAPS & HEADBANDS
I will bring a range of blankets, wraps & headbands with me so you can choose which ones you love the best - Which may suit the decor of your home & nursery and if you would prefer just the backdrop of your home to be used I can do that too - or a mixture of both. Please do not worry about any accidents at a newborn shoot - I am very much used to it!
CHOOSING YOUR PHOTOS
Within 10 working days I will send you a link to the fully edited set of images. You can then choose which package you would like to go for.
You will get the images on a easy to share download link - And will be able to download the images full size (ready to print) and web size (ready for social media/email)

SNEAK PEEKS
I love sharing some pictures super quick. With your permission I will share a few images from your shoot within a couple of days. I am more than happy to help you design a thank you card with little ones DOB, Name, Weight & time of birth all noted. Just ask - No extra cost!
EDITING
I will take super care & time editing your images. There is a fine balance in editing newborn skin to make it look its best without looking over edited.

SAFETY FIRST
I have done three in person newborn training courses to hone my skills with this type of photography. It is super important to me to have excellent knowledge about how to move, wrap & hold babies as well as getting gorgeous images for you. I will continue to use hand gel throughout the shoot & wear a mask if you prefer.

The shoot fee is £125.00
This shoot fee is payable when you book your shoot & confirms your booking. Within 10 working days of your shoot I will send you a viewing link so you can see your full set of edited images. You can then choose a photography package to receive a download link of your fully edited images. Packages are priced as follows:
