Hey! This a Bury Court Barn wedding from 2019, where I did both photography & a highlight film. And if you have met me at the Bury Court Barn Wedding Fair this is to show you more of my work. I would love you show you what a full wedding blog looks like at Bury Court – with a film too. So here goes!

So this wedding was back in 2019 – and my editing style was a little different. You may not care, or notice – but I would rather say it! I have been a photographer for 16 years – Almost all images on my website are from 2020 onwards and my newer edit. GETTING READY

The room you are given to get ready is super quirky, with a lovely view of the gardens. The dress hanging up in the circular room makes for an epic shot. And its a great place to do a reveal to your bridesmaids.

CEREMONY

You have a couple options at a Bury Court Barn Wedding. You can use the outside space or indoors in the barn. These guys got married in the summer and used the outside space – it looked beautiful!

I got married outdoors too – And I love how it feels at Bury Court Barn.

Reception Drinks

If you are planning a spring/ summer wedding its always lovely that you can keep your guests outdoors. Its such flattering light for photos, and lets the guests enjoy the gardens & grab drinks.

COUPLE SHOTS / BRIDAL PARTY

I think often this is my favourite bit of the day! It so special for you to get time together on your wedding day and soak in that you just got married! We will have done a pre wedding shoot and seen the best places to take photos and will make sure you get a variety on the day.

Your wedding party are always your besties – so we will make sure you enjoy have some fun photos with your bridesmaids & ushers too.

We also got some more couple shots after dinner – and used the fields for some evening light shots! LOVE LOVE LOVE

Speeches

I love a good set of speeches – And a great bit of the day for emotional & smiling shots too. For my wedding highlight films I now try and record the audio for the speeches (I didn’t for this wedding back in 2019). Details of the day

I always try and make sure I take photographs of lots of the details you have had made for your wedding. Flowers, table decor, signage, cake and so on.

Group Shots

If your Bury Court Wedding is April – September you should find that you can use outdoors for group shots after dinner as sunset will be later – or you can get them done before dinner. I will make sure we are super organised and know what photos you would like to get & start with the largest group and then send people away.

Evening shots

I am one of very few photographers that ALSO does a highlight film.

Rather than a full videographer I do just a 4-5 minute video of little video clips mashed together. I do not offer filming full speeches or ceremony. But I am the same places as I am for all your photos – so the style matches & no more extra people! Just me!
